La Galerie C est heureuse d'annoncer sa participation à Paris Photo 2025. Première foire internationale dans son domaine, Paris Photo est un catalyseur unique de rencontres et d’échanges, ainsi qu’une plateforme essentielle pour la diffusion de la photographie.
Les démarches de ces photographes, bien que singulières, partagent une sensibilité commune pour la matérialité du regard, la présence des corps et l’exploration de l’intime, inscrite dans une dimension partagée, presque universelle. Senta Simond et Alexandra Catiere posent un regard délicat sur l’humain à travers des portraits silencieux chargés d’émotion, où l’absence de récit explicite ouvre la voie à l’introspection. Lukas Hoffmann explore les formes du paysage — urbain, naturel ou social — en révélant la trace discrète, mais persistante, de la présence humaine. Matthieu Gafsou interroge les stéréotypes sociaux des jeunesses vaudoises, livrant des images marquées par l’émotion et la fragilité. Eric Poitevin magnifie le silence des corps, des animaux ou des végétaux, dans une approche contemplative, voire atemporelle. Enfin, Édouard Taufenbach et Bastien Pourtout articulent corps et lieux dans une mise en scène visuelle fragmentée, marquée par un rythme presque chorégraphique.
Tous les jours à 15h, Edouard Taufenbach et Bastien Pourtout performeront un réarrangement de leur "Jardin Cubiste" afin d'en révéler les possibilités de variations infinies.

The approaches of these photographers, though singular, share a common sensibility for the materiality of the gaze, the presence of bodies, and the exploration of intimacy — inscribed within a shared, almost universal dimension. Senta Simond and Alexandra Catiere offer a delicate perspective on the human being through silent, emotionally charged portraits, where the absence of explicit narrative invites introspection. Lukas Hoffmann explores the forms of landscape—urban, natural, or social—revealing the discreet yet persistent traces of human presence. Matthieu Gafsou examines the social stereotypes surrounding youth in the canton of Vaud, delivering images imbued with emotion and fragility. Eric Poitevin magnifies the silence of bodies—be they human, animal, or plant—in a contemplative, even timeless approach. Finally, Édouard Taufenbach and Bastien Pourtout weave together bodies and places in a fragmented visual staging, shaped by an almost choreographic rhythm.
