« Allamouni » (« ils m’ont appris » en arabe) questionne l’héritage culturel et l’influence de notre environnement, de notre éducation et de nos origines dans la construction de nos pensées, croyances et opinions. Les différentes œuvres présentées prolongent cette réflexion à travers les thèmes de la transmission, de l’identité et de la mémoire collective.
Le Prix Jaquet Droz récompense un travail en Arts visuels ou en Design d’un étudiant de l’Académie de Meuron. Adil Levain Chavanon, lauréat 2026, y déploie une pratique protéiforme mêlant photographie, installation et travail pictural.
S’inscrivant dans un partenariat entre la marque horlogère de La Chaux-de-Fonds et l’Académie de Meuron, école d’arts visuels à Neuchâtel, le Prix Jaquet Droz témoigne de l’engagement de la maison horlogère suisse envers les jeunes artistes de sa région et les métiers artistiques.

“Allamouni” (“they taught me” in Arabic) questions the cultural heritage and the influence of our environment, our education, and our origins in the construction of our thoughts, beliefs, and opinions. The various works presented extend this reflection through the themes of transmission, identity, and collective memory.
The Jaquet Droz Prize rewards a work in Visual Arts or Design by a student of the Académie de Meuron. Adil Levain Chavanon, winner of the 2026 Prize, develops a protean practice combining photography, installation, and pictorial work. As part of a partnership between the watchmaking brand from La Chaux-de-Fonds and the Académie de Meuron, a visual arts school in Neuchâtel, the Jaquet Droz Prize reflects the Swiss watchmaker’s commitment to young artists from its region and to artistic professions.
